Miss Student UK is a modern day contest to find the most dynamic, most determined and most popular female student of the academic year.

Utilising up to date technology and the Internet the competition gives new life to a previously successful competition format but takes it to new levels with a series of self development and mentoring sessions as part of the qualification process.

The competition held over a series of online and live regional and national heats recognises that, although students may leave University with a good degree, they often leave without any preparation for the real business world and are no better prepared for interviews, presentations and career decisions than they were when they left school several years earlier. Students are in need of guidance and direction which is not often forthcoming through the usual channels. The Miss Student UK competition addresses this and harnesses the fun element of being a ‘crazy’, ‘mad’, ‘wild’ student and delivers alongside it lessons and guidance which will help contestants to achieve success in their chosen careers.

The interaction with peers from Universities throughout their own region, initially, and then throughout the UK, combined with mentoring from successful business executives and a commitment and determination to propel themselves through the competition, is a unique and rewarding life experience resulting in more self confidence and more business and commercial awareness.

As always in life, the efforts of the more determined reap the bigger rewards. The winner of the Miss Student UK title wins a prize package of £15,000 including a cash prize of £10,000 a European holiday for 2, a photo shoot and a two year TV and modelling contract. Miss Student’s growth has now firmly established it as a ‘must do’ competition in student circles. The appeal widens each year as more and more students grasp the opportunity to develop whilst having some great student style fun.
